  • Overview

    As our Manager of Ecommerce Design you will lead a team in the day-to-day generation and execution of exceptional ideas that integrate user experience best practices and ecommerce business goals, by utilizing strong visual and conceptual problem-solving skills. Partner with Creative Director, Brand & E-Comm to ensure design consistency across all E-Comm executions. Collaborate with Creative Directors and Marketing to create compelling product stories, brand content, and omni-channel campaigns.

     

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Core Accountabilities

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the E-Comm design team to ensure email & site executions are delivered on-time and align with corresponding business objectives and initiatives
    • Partner with Creative Director, Brand & E-Comm to provide creative feedback to team that ensures design consistency and brand appropriate design
    • Ensure consistent design executions across desktop, tablet, and mobile that provide maximum customer impact and build an enduring premium brand
    • Maximize communication and cooperation within and between departments and divisions
    • Provide leadership within the department, directly supervising E-Comm web design team
    • Partner with Creative Directors to develop brand & product specific design executions for multiple channels and platforms that align to seasonal Go-to-Market initiatives
    • Partner with engineering group to ensure best possible technical solutions

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Leadership drive and ability to develop team
    • Demonstrated ability to concept, communicate, and execute creative direction
    • Flexible approach; able to easily adapt to creative direction changes
    • Detail oriented and highly organized with ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and maintain a clear sense of priorities
    • Demonstrated willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance environment
    • Ability to respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback
    • Demonstrated experience with AEM, Adobe Creative Suite
    • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, browsers and web technologies
    • Solid understanding of usability

     

     

    Education/Experience Required

    • 7+ years in web design preferably for an E-commerce/fashion site
    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent
    • Experience in the outdoor retail industry
