This position oversees the development and implementation of recruitment and onboarding processes, positioning Eddie Bauer Service Center to be a destination employer for top talent. This position supports the full lifecycle recruiting process at the Eddie Bauer Service Center: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, selection, reference checking, offer negotiation, closing, and orientation of non-exempt and exempt candidates. On a project-by-project basis, this position may be asked to provide support for HR deliverables across any of the HR areas. This position has direct interface with associates, managers and HR team.


  • Develop, implement, and oversee the annual and peak recruiting plan, which include interviewing, making offers, drug testing, and conducting orientations
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
  • Create a comprehensive recruitment marketing strategy, which includes advertisements, career fairs, social media, etc. for annual and peak season recruiting. Regularly implement new and creative sourcing methods.
  • Manage our external partnerships with colleges, local associations, job boards, HR organizations and software vendors
  • Review and analyze key recruiting metrics (time to hire, source of hire, cost per hire, turnover, etc.) and provide recommendations to the HR Manager on improvements and enhancements. Review with team weekly and report to the HR Manager monthly. Research, analyze, prepare and present local, state, and national unemployment and labor market statistics
  • Update and facilitate new hire orientation with an emphasis on providing new associates a superior and informative orientation experience 
  • Develop strong relationships with supervisors and managers to determine ongoing staffing needs and to develop specific recruiting plans around forecasted growth opportunities
  • Supervise the recruiting team and provide direction and development of team. Assist the recruiting team in best utilizing their time and resources as they work together to fill a diverse array of open positions 
  • Direct the day-to-day efforts of employment agencies, partnering with the on-site staff to ensure positions are filled and new hires have started as expected
  • Participate in development of annual recruiting budget. Always seeks efficiencies when reviewing procedures


  • Three to five years of previous experience in recruiting
  • Two years of previous management experience
  • Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
  • Experience working in a high volume, fast pace environment
  • Knowledge and compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in Human Resources, Communication, Marketing or related field
