Overview

Responsible for the P&L of the Eddie Bauer Wholesale business SPARC. They will be managing the achievement of the budgets set jointly with the President and Executive Committee. Responsible for developing and executing Eddie Bauer brand strategies targeted at customer acquisition. This business is inclusive of our Department, Specialty, and Chain Store accounts.  Specifically, and not exclusive to, Nordstrom, Dillards, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Belk. Leverage data and analytics to build strategic initiatives targeting product and distribution.  They will be a leader & focus on development of the team.

             

 

Responsibilities

Core Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for P&L of Wholesale, B2B for Eddie Bauer
  • Manage Key Cross Functional Relationships
  • Develop and manage retailer relationships and negotiations at DMM, GMM Level
  • Execute Product strategies laid out by brand and design
  • Manage and grow Wholesale margins, to increase EBITA
  • Leverage Data and Analytics to build key distribution & product strategies
  • Manage and develop their organization to achieve excellence.
  • Develop and mentor team members to promotion and or internal rotation.
  • Be a Leader of Leaders, manage managers to develop their own teams as well

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:

  • 15+ Years of Sales, Merchandising experience, with a concentration in Outdoor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Office Proficient
  • Over Indexes in Team and Cross functional trust
  • Proficient in P&L management
  • Relationships within Key retailers at the GMM Level, including Dick’s Sporting Good, REI, Dillards and Nordstrom.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
  • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel Required.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position.  As an International Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.  This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
