    Provide Human Resource partnership to associates at the Eddie Bauer Corporate Office. Drive to enhance performance by providing leadership guidance, associate relations support, career path advisory, reshaping facilitation, and company risk mitigation. Actively participate in the leadership of HR initiatives to maximize individual performance accountability and the pursuit of an engaged brand culture.             



    Core Accountabilities:

    • Develop and implement strategies to support officers, directors, and associates in performance effectiveness, leadership, and cross functional team development.
    • Active leadership in delivering annual HR initiatives in support of EBITDA results.
    • Lead the Annual Feedback Process.
    • Lead Succession Planning process; building succession at Officer/Director levels.
    • Lead associate relations; manage internal investigations, coach and mediate.
    • Actively partner with Benefits team; leading the interactive process to ensure associate and company protection.
    • Resolve workplace challenges related to misconduct, and violations of company policy.
    • Mindfully protect equitable execution of company policy and employment law.
    • Partner with Officers to determine effective use of headcount to drive business results.
    • Track and translate cultural themes to actionable solutions.
    • Actively participate in Officer/Director onboarding guiding swift acclimation to Eddie Bauer heritage, brand culture, and current business climate.
    • Facilitate leadership assimilations.
    • Support Recruiting team in onboarding of new associates with a focus on engagement, retention, and performance effectiveness.
    • Lead the corporate reshaping process; supporting Officers in evolving functions, individual roles, and resources to drive EBITDA.
    • Actively engage with Benefits, Payroll, and Recruiting teams to ensure seamless services delivered to Eddie Bauer Associates.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach others, with confidence and presence
    • Ability to research, write, and influence adherence to policy
    • Lead cross functional teams in enterprise wide projects



    Education/Experience Required:

    • 7+ years of professional Human Resource experience
    • 4 year college degree in Human Resources or Business
    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
    • 5+ years of solving complex employee relations issues in a corporate environment
    • 1-2 years of experience leading and developing a small team
    • Ability to build strong cross functional partnerships
    • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Ultimate Software


    Physical Requirements:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
    • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
    • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
    • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
    • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel Required.


    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position.  As an International Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.  This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
